HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE PILLAR OF THE UNION!!!

OFFICE OF THE INFORMATION OFFICER
STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT
UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE PILLAR OF THE UNION!!!

The last time I did for you, we were contesting elections.
You for Assistant Secretary General
I for Information Officer
Together we fought
Side by side we struggled
The faculty of Arts brought us together
Politics made the bond stronger
You were never ashamed of me and my ambition
I was always proud of you and yours
At a point I almost traded you
You knew about it but never paid me back

In office you made us proud
As many as stood by your dreams and visions
With the TOUCHING LIVES Movement
You caused your impact to be felt across board
The challenges were enormous
But you showed yourself strong and capable
What could this administration have done without you
What did we ever achieve without your touch

From Dinner with First Years for which you had sleepless nights
The Independence Day Get-Together with the President would have been a flop
But you were there to save the day
Reawaken the Giants pulled through because you sacrificed even your academics to make it work
Ozumba's Cup got you running helter skelter alongside the Director of Games
You refused to leave the SUG Week to just the Vice President even when you would have been justified. Thus, the success recorded therein
You have always worked behind the scene
Never seeking recognition
While some struggled to sit at the tables to be introduced with big names and titles
You preferred to look rough and be content with the news that
"The event was a success"

I am especially indebted to you
For the Information Office would not have gone far without you
To you we all owe it
For no Principal Officer of the current administration
Can write a complete story of his stay in office
Without a mention of your name

I wish we had more like you
We would have done greater things than we did
However, we are glad we have you
For it would have been worse without you

Today we all celebrate you
From the President and the Executives
From the Senate President and the Senators
From the Acting Speaker, House of Representatives and the Honourable Members
From the Judges and the Judicial Council
From the Council of Hall Governors
From the Faculty Presidents and their Executives
From the Departmental Presidents and their Executives
From and on behalf of all the Class Reps, their Assistants and all Course Reps
From the over 30,000 Armless Battalion that makes up the Den of Lions
We say a big

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
NNENNA JOSEPH OSINAKACHI(M)
Assistant Secretary General
Students' Union Government
University of Nigeria, NSUKKA

May the Lord who has thus far been your guide
Keep you waxing stronger and bigger
In all your endeavours
In Jesus name

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE PILLAR OF THE UNION!!!

OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY GENERAL
STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT
UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE PILLAR OF THE UNION!!!

Birthdays are special to the celebrants
But yours is especially special to me
It is as though I am celebrating
Because the Union has bound us together
While we contested, we weren't sure what each person would become in office
But as we plan to hand over
You are one of those I would want to stick close to

For the rest of my life
Partnership with you is not negotiable
You have proven your worth
And have made yourself indispensable
As a result of your adventurous spirit
Our administration achieved the milestone we have thus far recorded

Most importantly
You have been a pillar to me and my office
But for your support and help
Your wisdom and tact
Your never resting apirit
Your visionary mindset
A lot that happened in this administration would not have happened
Friends and foes alike attest to the fact that you are the best
Though occupying an office that seems insignificant
You made it relevant beyond standard

I could go on and on
But time and space keeps everyone constrained
However
This will I not end without saying

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR
NNENNA JOSEPH OSINAKACHI
ASSSITANT SECRETARY GENERAL
STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT
UNIVERSITY OF NIGERI, NSUKKA
I love you so much

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADA MONIQUE

OFFICE OF THE INFORMATION OFFICER
STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT
UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADA MONIQUE

Well, I hate composing birthday wishes during exams because of the energy spent on it but I have to do this for some reasons.
First, it's the last opportunity I will have to celebrate her as my colleague both in the class and in the Office
I think it's the first time I will ever celebrate her this publicly
She has touched many lives informatively that she should not be ignored. However, she has been ignored this wise for some years now and so deserves much more than this

And I am sure this is a name most of you will remember easily. Just like a number of us from before the 2013 Session, I remember most importantly with information dissemination especially for aspirants. She started long before we gained admission into unn and her collabo with MY UNN DREAM kept her going till I had to hijack her into the Information Crew.

Since first year I never had the privilege of celebrating with you because your birthdays come during exams just as mine come during holidays (except for last year which came a day to our inauguration). No admission year comes and passes without many having to depend on you for guidance through the process of application, screening, admission and clearance. You have proven your worth by ensuring that year in year out, you never failed your fans. Despite academic stress and personal challenges, you have continued to fill the gap with your presence and impact.

Most times when people talk about me and information, I cannot but remember you and how much you contributed to making this Office what it is today. It is your journalism prowess that made me call you into the Union's service, and I do not regret it one bit. Of you I can say, you gave your best for the good of Nigerian Students. For many go with some loud titles without making those titles count, but you have touched many lives even without a title to your name.

If this were a book, I would exercise my freedom to pour out as much as I want about you. However, for the sake of time and space, I will just end it this way:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHUKWU CHINEME (ADA MONIQUE)
Electronic Information Manager,
SUG, UNN (2016/2017)

May the Almighty who has made you a channel of help and blessings to many always watch over you to ensure that you lack no good thing.
May He keep in your ways destiny helpers who will know no sleep till they have done their part in taking you to your destination.
May the joy your works have put in the hearts of students well up to God in prayers for you that His blessings will endlessly flow upon your life in Jesus name.
